Good for cuddling? Please answer!!!?

I was wondering what bird is very cute and cuddly! This is not my first time with a bird I've had atiels and budgies/parakeets before. I was wondering what kind of bird I should get. I put a deposit down on a CGGC (Cinnamon Green Cheek Conure) but he didn't bond well with me, bit me, and from other posts I've learned that he doesn't like me so I'm going to move on to another bird. I am aware of all responsibility I will have and I'm willing to train my new buddy. I would just like some ideas on what kind of bird I should get. I don't want anything too large (African greys, atoos, macaws, and any large parrot or bird is my idea of large) but nothing too small (finches, canaries, budgies, etc.) Not saying I don't like these birds, I just want a bird in the middle... if that makes sense =) Maybe any other conure that is cuddly would be very helpful except for the Sun Conure. I would very much like to own one but because of sensitive hearing, I can't keep one and my neighbors would definitely get a little upset with the noise! Although, I do know that the GCC is the most quiet of conures. I also looked at a Green Naped Lory recently and she is hilarious! Rolling on her back, hopping around, and all that cute stuff. However, when I played with her, she was pretty nippy. I'm not sure if this is common in her species but I didn't research it yet because I haven't fully decided if I should buy her or not. Also, I am getting my bird from a local breeder who owns a bird store and he hand-feeds all of his babies and only sends them home once they are fully weaned. I would just like to know if any of you have some ideas on what kind of bird I should buy. Thank you for reading this I know it is quite long!
