My truck wont start, was just running good.?

I took the truck out, first time in a long time. Took a friend to go and drop off some stuff. Anyways we get there I park and turn it off. I do my stuff, Turn it back on and the windsheild wipers were frozen in the up postion and now theres alot of rain in the window.. so i turn it off. Turn it to the electric power, not egnition. The radio and signals and the wipers worked, so i tryed turning it on and it wont start! It doesn't crank. There is a "check engine" and a "amp" with a battery picture illuminated. The truck is a 93' ford 150. My uncles a mechanic and hes coming to help me but I popped it to neutral and we pushed it to a parkin. Any ideas what might be wrong? Thanks!
