Do you like the beginning of my story?

Mostly I like it, you have character and detail and leads into a multitude of histories. Maybe a little too much information for an opening - you are laying a lot of your cards on the table in a very short space of time. The "naked on the sofa" and "Rhinestone Cowboy" details are genius. Reminds me of Vernon God Little.
