Does it seem to be getting hard these days to get answers without negative or insulting answers on Y! Answers?

Sometimes it feels that people are getting more rude, insulting, cynical, and obnoxious. However, it seems yahoo in general has more of them than anywhere else. Do people think they can talk online anyway they want to because they think it is anonymous, and get away with it? Are there repercussions for this behaviour? If so, in what way?
