My bird doesn't dance : (?

i've seen lots of other birds having loads of fun listening to music and dancing! i have a atiel so he is one of the types of birds that dance, but he just doesn't do it. i've tried every kind of music from beethoven to celine dion to seether (which i thought might scare him, but it turns out he likes it ok). someone told me to try to show him how birds should dance, but a couple weeks of trying produced nothing but strange looks from my bird. he'll be a year and a half in december. i know he's young, but the other bird owners i know say that their birds were all dancing by that age. i know it's a silly thing to worry about, but i can't help it. his favorite game seems to be climbing up and down my arms or walking along my back. he doesn't even really play with the toys i got him or anything. i take him out every day, he gets clean food and water every day, treats, vitamins, he flies lots! he doesn't seem necessarily depressed, but then again i'm no bird whisperer. what can i do?
