Washing Ugg style boots?

Okay so I bought a pair of boots from the store Urban Planet .. they are just like the Ugg boots. I am just wondering are they okay to put in the washer? I wore them to work, and I went to go out for a smoke and ended up stepping right into a mudd puddle! Everyone who has these boots knows; it all seeps through to the inside .. Any advice?
